Bilingual Assistance in Spanish/Korean

Section 203 of the Voting Rights Act requires that when a language minority group reaches a certain threshold, election materials must be provided in the language of that group. Based on data collected in the last Census, Bergen County is required to provide election material in Spanish and Korean. Please call the appropriate language hotline or email electionsclerk@co.bergen.nj.us to request translated materials or ask any election-related question.

 

La Sección 203 de la Ley de Derechos Electorales requiere que cuando un grupo lingüístico minoritario alcanza un cierto umbral, los materiales electorales deben proporcionarse en el idioma de ese grupo. Con base en los datos recopilados en el último Censo, el Condado de Bergen debe proporcionar material electoral en español y coreano. Llame a la línea directa de idiomas correspondiente o envíe un correo electrónico a electionsclerk@co.bergen.nj.us para solicitar materiales traducidos o hacer cualquier pregunta relacionada con las elecciones.
